Ingredients
750g cubed lamb or hogget
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 tablespoons flour
2 carrots
2 large potatoes cut into pieces
1 large stalk celery
2 onions sliced
1 x 100g can sliced mushrooms
1 x 500g can diced tomatoes
1/4 cup dry red wine (optional)
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 375g can peas
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 bay leaf
Method
Place meat into slow cooker. Combine flour, salt & pepper and toss over meat making sure to coat it throughly. Add carrots, celery, potatoes & onions and mix well. Add remaining ingredients and cook on low setting for approximately 7 to 8 hours.
Serve with crusty bread, rice or pasta.
